Ninth GOOS Regional Alliances Forum

5 – 7 Aug 2019, Tokyo, Japan

The GRA Forum is an international biannual meeting held for a period of three days. Further information about GRAs is available here. The GRA-VIII Forum was organised in Singapore, 5-7 September 2017. The Key Objectives of GRA-IX: 1) Opportunity to discuss the highlights, progress and challenges of GOOS Regional Alliance (GRA) over the last two years; 2) Examine and explore how GRAs will benefit/contribute from/to the UN Ocean Science Decade for Sustainable Development, the GOOS Strategy 2030, and the development of an Implementation Plan; 3) Discuss how regional governance can improve implementation at national level; 4) Discuss and agree on new GRA priorities, actions and leadership (Chair and vice-chairs).
